Day 1: Johannesburg / Kruger National Park
We leave Johannesburg from 07:00 – 08:00am and head north towards the vast wilderness of the Kruger National Park. After a short stop for tea (optional) we arrive at the safari hub of Hazyview, where you’ll climb aboard open safari vehicles.
Check in, freshen up, enjoy some lunch (own account) and prepare for your afternoon game drive. Kruger is home to the ‘Big Five’ as well as 147 species of mammals, reptiles and birds. Enjoy spotting them during an afternoon open safari vehicle drive, before returning to the rest camp for dinner and your first nights sleep in this famous patch of Bushveld.

A full day seeking out Kruger’s creatures, big and small. The best game spotting opportunities are in the early morning and late afternoon. We follow the animal’s example by taking a midday siesta!

Day 3: Kruger National Park /Johannesburg

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Park with an experienced game ranger, pursuing the Big Five, abundant plains game and prolific bird life.
After your game drive you will enjoy a delicious, hearty breakfast before returning to camp around mid morning.
Leave the park and travel back to Johannesburg, arriving at around 7:00pm.

As the shuttle only arrives back in Johannesburg at approximately 19h00, we recommend that clients do not book any connecting flights for the same day, however should this be necessary, not to book anything earlier than 21h00 as African Blue Tours cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control.
Kruger for Less
- For those seeking more time at leisure, but still wanting to experience the excitement of the Kruger National Park in open safari vehicles, this option is available. The itinerary and meals remain the same except the full day safari on Day 2 is excluded.
Kruger Park Fly-In Safari
- This tour is available as a fly-in option. Under your own arrangement to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (own account), where you will be met and transferred to Nkambeni Tented Camp. Here you will spend 2 nights and enjoy an afternoon and full day game drive before you return to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, for your onward journey.

The accommodation consists of 150 luxury timber and canvas tented suites built on stilts to ensure minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
Suites consist of 2 x single extra length beds, 2 x fold out bunk beds and bathroom with indoor & outdoor shower
