I brought a group of 20 senior cricket fans to Cape Town for the Newlands Test on 03/01/2010.
I was in contact with David Smith of African Blue Tours by email to arrange trips for the group on New Years Day and on the 2nd of January. On both days he was our guide and gave us the benefit of his local knowledge having been brought up in Camps Bay. The bus provided was a 25 seater comforable with Aircon and a personable driver.
The Cape Peninsula tour was everything I asked you for, taking in Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak and Cape Point. We returned via the Penguins at Boulders Beach and had a pleasant drink on the quay at Simonstown.
The Winelands tour highlight was the cellar tour and tasting at Seidelberg, which was David’s idea. They provided local cheeses and Italian meats with the tasting, at 11 am. Boschendal wine tasting and Le Picnic for Lunchwas also good in a wonderful setting under the trees. We returned via Stellenbosch and called in at Spier to see the Cheetah Outreach project, look in the shop and have a drink.
Our two days out were enjoyed by all the group, and I have no hesitation in reccommending African Blue Tours as your trip organiser in Cape Town.Geoff Goodson – UK
