Day 1

  

This adventure accentuates an authentic African Safari experience from start to finish. From Johannesburg, head east via Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview to spectacular Mpumalanga. Arrive at the safari hotel set in indigenous forests. Freshen up before your African safari begins in the afternoon.

Enter the world famous Kruger National Park, unrivalled in its diversity of flora and fauna and spend the afternoon game viewing in an open safari vehicle. Return to the lodge as the dinner drum sounds and enjoy dinner under the stars in a traditional African boma (weather permitting).

Accommodation: Protea Hotel Kruger Gate + 2 game viewing activities

Day 2

Early morning game viewing on an open safari vehicle in the Kruger National Park with an experienced game ranger who will endeavour to spoil you with sightings of the 'Big Five', general game and prolific bird life. After returning to the lodge for a sumptuous breakfast, your safari ranger will drive you to Johannesburg in our unique 'safari branded' vehicle.

Depart from this wildlife haven via Sabie and over the scenic Long Tom Pass to Lydenburg. Continue via Dullstroom to Johannesburg arriving in the early evening (approx 18h30).

Important:

It is recommended that clients do not book any connecting flights on the return day as travel times and stops may vary depending on the interests of fellow guests.

Please note:

- Tours of longer duration are available. For longer tours, the first and last days are identical to Day 1 & Day 2 as described above.

- Additional days added to the itinerary will be spent game viewing and the accommodation will be on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis including 2 game viewing activities per full day.
